A "fulachta
fiadha" - A cooking place; the stone trowth
in the center of the photo was filled with water
and then hot stones were added to bring the water
to boil. The "fulachta fiadha" shown in
this photo is at the Drombeg Stone circle, it has been
dated to the late Bronze Age (technically not
prehistoric).
